In this letter, which rejects the claim by the head of the judiciary in denial of torture in Iran, part is also dedicated to torture in the Zahedan Intelligence ministry’s detention center. According to the letter, Zahedan's Intelligence ministry’s officers by means of "torturing" three brothers named Ehsan, Nadim, Mohsen and their nephew, Mohammad, have asked themto confess that they "killed a soldier and a Basij in the former district", and have done this "on the fatwa of Mawlavi Fazlorrahman Kouhi". On the basis of this letter, they denailed these prisoners and they have handcuffed and shackled Ahmad for four months. In another part of this letter, pointing out that five other prisoners have been "under the worst torture" for five months, it is stated that they have been asked to say "Mawlana Fazl Al-Rahman has given us fatwa for murder.
