Fatemeh Sepehri

Fatemeh Sepehri is one of the signatories of the famous "Letter of 14" which strongly criticized the country's conditions and demanded the resignation of the leader Ali Khamenei. Despite her Islamic beliefs, she has been one of the most vocal and direct critics of the theocracy in Iran. She has been arrested and convicted several times.

  • # Life In 2004, at the age of 40, Ms. Sepehri participated in the university entrance exam and succeeded in being accepted into the Bachelor of Business Administration course at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and received her bachelor's degree from this university. Fatemeh, Ibrahim's daughter, lost her husband during the 8-year Iran-Iraq war in the early 80s, and the guardianship of her child was given to her father-in-law (as a legal guardian) against Sepehri's consent.
