Ali Reza Farshi Dizajyekan
Alireza Farshi is a writer and civil rights activist from Marand. He is very prominent among activists fighting for ethnic language rights in Iran. Mr. Farshi is a computer engineering graduate from Sharif University and got his Masters at Tehran University. As a professor he was fired from Jolfa university and Seraj Institute.
Ali Reza Farshi is the founder of the campaign for "a Turkish library in every village". He has established dozens of libraries in deprived villages of East Azarbaijan province. Ali Reza Farshi is the son of Bahman Farshi who was killed in the Iran-Iraq war. He was a commander of the 31st Ashura army and was killed in the Badr operation. <symbol-timeline></symbol-timeline>
