Shoeyb Mirbalouchzahi Rigi lives in Zahedan. He was arrested during the protests across Sistan and Balochistan province in response to the rape of a 15-year-old Baloch girl by the chief of police of Chabahar and the murder of Mahsa Amini. He was 17 at the time.

There is a camera at the corner of the cell. People in different cells can't see each other and when someone has a visitor or has to be taken to the infirmary, they take him away in handcuffs and shackles. The prisoners suffer depression due to a lack of movement and small space. Every two prisoners who smoke get one or two cigarettes a week that they buy themselves and each prisoner can make a phone call in the presence of authority once a week for three minutes. The prisoners are taken outside separately to get some air for five minutes once a day. According to the report, the main perpetrators of the torture in this ward are Ali Poudineh from Zabol, Reza Hashem Zehi from Nook Abad, Moslem Sarhaddi from Zabol, Mehdi Khosh Neshin from Zabil, and the warden of the ward 9 is a person known by the last name Alizadeh who is not a local. </reference> </coverage-outsourcing>
