Hamid Ghareh Hassanlou is a doctor specializing in radiology and a member of the Gonabadi Dervishes community. He was arrested after attending a memorial for Hadith Najafi, one of the protesters killed in the countrywide uprising in reaction to Mahsa Amini's murder, and was charged with corruption on earth.
