Melika Gharagozlou
.Melika Gharagozlou is a journalism student at Allameh Tabatabaei University. She has worked with Khabar Online in the past. She was first arrested during the November 2019 uprising and received a prison sentence. She was also arrested for a campaign against the hijab, and later during the countrywide uprising in response to Mahsa Amini's murder.
Millions of demonstrators protests in several cities of Iran, after the petrol price rise. Though, the early hours of the protests were aimed at the petrol price rise, soon after the protests turned against the government. From the earliest moments firing on protesters began in many places and security forces killed or injured hundreds.
