The sources of the Ahvaz Human Rights Organization, while confirming these narratives, have reported that one of his relatives has been summoned, and was forced to sign a pledge with threats and intimidation, not to hold a mourning ceremony. The source of the Iran Human Rights Campaign, who was aware of the security forces' threat and believes that suicide was not the cause of Abbas Mansouri's death, says: > If it was suicide, what is the cause of their concerns? Why should the burial of a person who committed suicide be held in secret?
