Mostafa Ali Ahamd is a Syrian Kurd. He was sentenced to death for the charge of "War against the regime through membership in PJAK", but his sentence was later overturned

For this charge he was sentenced to six months in prison by judge Chabok. According to Harana, during his time in Urmia prison, he was transferred to Urmia's Intelligence ministry jail seven times, and each time he spent two to three months in solitary confinement </coverage-outsourcing>
