Firouz Mousalou
Firouz Mousalou is from Qatur near Khoy. He was sentenced to death for "war against God and state". He was executed on June 20th, 2022 without notifying his family or attorney for the last visit. Judiciary officials refused to deliver his body to the family and buried him in secret.
After several years as a member of the Kurdistan Labor Party, Firouz Mousalou received a letter of non-prosecution and reported to the IRGC headquarters in Sardasht. Although the IRGC officials had told his family that he will be released after a few days of interrogations, he was transferred to Urmia IRGC detention center for months, where he was repeatedly tortured and eventually sentenced to death. <symbol-timeline></symbol-timeline>
