Siamak Namazi

Siamak Namazi is an Iranian-American businessman. He was arrested and sentenced to prison on charges of collaborating with hostile countries. Before his arrest, he was the director of the strategic planning office of "Crescent" oil company.

He holds Iranian and U.S citizenship and is the Director of the Office of Strategic Planning of the Cresent Petroleum Company, and is a well known Iranian-American. He is also an important member of the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), an organization dedicated to better relations between Iran and the U.S. <symbol-timeline></symbol-timeline>
