According to the report, the basis of the charge was a video showing Sahand trying to pull out a highway guardrail. He also said that the interrogator lied to him to get him to sign the coerced confessions and told him that his mother had a stroke. The interrogator told him that if he cooperates they would let him call home. "he told me to write down I called people to come and remove the guardrails and move it, even though in the film it is clear that I'm on the other side. But since I thought my mom had a stroke I wrote down everything he said," Sahand explained. He went on to talk about the psychological torture and the fact that they took him for mock execution three times. - <coverage-outsourcing id='44505'> <reference source='https://t.me/emtedadnet/73247'> In an interview with Emtedad, Jafar Nour Mohammadzadeh, father of Sahand Nour Mohammadzadeh said: > Based on the video evidence they showed in court, my son didn't set the trash bin on fire. 120 business owners and neighbors have signed a petition testifying that he did not set fire to the trash bin and didn't tear the bus lane guardrails. According to their testimony, which was presented in court, the trash bin was set on fire before, and several tires were burning inside it. Since the trash bin was close to Sahand's new motorcycle, he kicked the trash bin a few times trying to get the fire away from the motorcycle. Also, the video shows others pulling off the guardrail and someone blocking the street with it, then a passenger gets off the bus and moves it out of the way. All my son did was put it back on the road and blocked the path of the bus for a short time. The main street was also not blocked and the cars would pass the trash bin and continue on their way. But the case says otherwise. The same goes with the guardrail, which the video clearly shows my son didn't tear off in the first place. Same with the claim of setting fire to the trash bin, even though the video clearly shows he had nothing to do with it. Even the chants that they attribute to him cannot be seen in the video and his hands are not even up (as a fist) for chanting, but they labeled him a leader anyway. At worst my son got momentarily excited, but he didn't hurt anyone. The security forces took his two phones and examined them, there wasn't even a single post or story against the state; if he had, they would have used it in the case. He had no weapons and didn't fight with the police. How can they convict him of Moharebeh for those things? According to witnesses, the whole incident took about 15 minutes and when the police showed up Sahand had already left the area. In the video, he is just standing there in a pink shirt with no mask. How could they label him as the leader? The only evidence they have is the testimony of another suspect against him, while according to the law, the testimony of a suspect against another suspect in the same case is not admissible. They took Sahand for mock execution three times during the interrogation and dropped a noose around his neck, such terrible psychological torture. They also told him that his mom had a stroke and that if he wants to talk to her he needs to sign the confession, and they swore to release him after. When he did what they asked, they just took him back to his cell. </reference> </coverage-outsourcing>

On the appointed date, along with Sahand's fiance and my wife, we visited the head of the branch, and the result of our conversation was that Judge Afshari gave a favorable promise to issue a sentence of less than ten years for my son based on his citations.
