Liza Tebyanian

Liza Tebyanian was detained on charges of believing in the Baha'i faith. The Appeals Court acquitted her, noting that promoting the Baha'i faith is not considered to be "propaganda against the state." The Supreme Court later overturned the appeal, and her sentence was carried out.
