He was stopped on a road near Urmia and sustained a bullet injury, and was arrested. His fellow traveller Arkan Saeedi was killed in this incident

Prisoners charged with “belonging to Kurdish parties”: Azad Mohammadi (three years and nine months), Omid Abdizadeh (one year), Behzad Mahmoudnejad (one year), Hassan Hassanzadeh (two years). Those charged with “Communicating with MEK through Telegram”: Hamid Reza Jafarzadeh (one year).
