Zāniyārollāh was mercilessly shot by the security forces of the criminal Islamic Regime, sustaining 95 bullets. He also suffered from internal bleeding in his lungs. His tragic death highlights the brutality and repression faced by freedom fighters in Iran. Zāniyār's father said about his son: > Zāniyār had only one hand, he went to the street with that one hand for freedom.
