Masoumeh Yavari
Masoume Yavari is a political activist living in Golpayegan. She was arrested in Tehran at the same time as the 2009 protests and was sentenced to prison in exile on the charge of Moharebeh. She was also arrested in September 2023 on suspicion of connection to the People's Mojahedin Organization and sentenced to long-term imprisonment.
