He would sometimes publish news related to the Green Movement, political prisoners, and prisoners of conscience. He was arrested alongside a number of other individuals and transferred to Ward 2A. His charge was identified as "Assembly and collusion against national security" by "Interrogator Amin Naseri". He was transferred to Ward 350 after his interrogation. Despite his being issued an order for bail, he was not allowed to leave the prison.
