Shaker Baghi
Shaker Baghi was arrested on political charges. He is a citizen of Turkey. During his time in prison, Mr. Baghi received inhumane treatment in exile. The authorities at Kashmar Prison denied him the right to medical service for years.
After the Islamic Penal Code changed in 2013, a new definition for Mohareb (enemy of God and Islamic state) was provided. According to the law, Mr. Baghi's case should have been reviewed again, but it wasn't and he stayed in prison. <symbol-timeline></symbol-timeline>
