  • <coverage-outsourcing id='61138'> <reference source='https://iranhr.net/fa/articles/6753/'> A source told Iran Human Rights Organization: > Edris Ali used to carry bags in the border areas of Sardasht. He was once arrested by the security forces with a bag of liquor. In the case of Edris, there were a total of 8 defendants from the cities of Sardasht, Bukan and Saqez, all of whom were Kulbars. Later, 5 of them were released on bail, and three are still in prison, and the exact sentence of two of them is not known. This source further added: > Edris Ali even admitted that he works for Israel in his confession obtained under physical torture, but this is not really true. He was a victim of framing by the Ministry of Intelligence and his only job was carrying bags and smuggling alcohol. He was told in Urmia's intelligence department that since you were only carrying alcohol, you will be released, but you must repeat what we say in order to be released. So Edris repeated what the Ministry of Intelligence told him to say in front of the camera and said that there were documents in his luggage that he had to hand over to Israel. Now that they have sentenced Edris to death for these false confessions, they threatened all three people that they should not publicize their situation in any way. Of these three people, only Edris Ali is kept in political prison, and the other two prisoners are in non-political prisons. </reference> </coverage-outsourcing>
