Sina Mohammadian, a 16-year-old who was arrested during 2019 protests told a Hengaw reporter: “I was imprisoned for a month during which I was repeatedly beaten up. In some cases, they would strip myself and other arrestees before beating us repeatedly”
Millions of demonstrators protests in several cities of Iran, after the petrol price rise. Though, the early hours of the protests were aimed at the petrol price rise, soon after the protests turned against the government. From the earliest moments firing on protesters began in many places and security forces killed or injured hundreds.
