Mohammad Abdollahi

He is a Kurdish resident of Bukan who was sentenced to execution and is currently in Mahabad's Central Prison. Mohammad Abdollahi was previously charged with "Engaging with government forces" and " Founding or leading an organization aimed to disrupt national security "and sentenced to five years' imprisonment in Shahroud by the Revolutionary Court

  • <coverage-outsourcing id='6312'> Mohammad Abdollahi was arrested. He was sentenced to five years' imprisonment in exile in Shahroud Prison. During his incarceration he was allowed to leave the prison on furlough but failed to return on time. He wrote a letter to the Head of the Judiciary in which he informed him that he had left for Iraqi Kurdistan and started to work there. According to HRANA, a source close to the defendant claimed that not only was he not allowed an attorney, but the judge referred to him using terms such as "Imbecile, dunce, stupid, and murderer". The defendant penned a letter to Ayatollah Larijani in which he claimed possession of a Komala Group identification card and involvement in an altercation are not proper grounds for a death sentence. Considering that the defendant's body was not delivered to his family, and despite the fact that the court informed his family that he was executed, it is still not possible to confirm his execution. These circumstances are similar to what political prisoners Saman Nasim and Younes Aghayan were subjected to in the same facility. Five months after Saman and Younes' transfer to solitary alongside other inmates on death row, it became apparent that these two individuals were not executed, while their family and supporters thought they'd been executed five months prior </coverage-outsourcing>

He sent one of his ward-mates a note that read: > It's a shame, I would have beat you at backgammon tonight . Saman Nasim received a note from him: > Don't be jealous Saman, your turn will come also , and a non-political prisoner received one that read: > Mr...it's a shame that I'm being executed, I would have liked to see you die in the ward .
