IPA researchers pointed to the Iranian government's security tactics and reviewed several cases that have been charged with connections to the Mojahedin-e Khalgh organization (MKO). One of the most notable cases is Zia Nabavi, who was finally acquitted after nine years in prison. Mr. Younesi's family was supporting MKO during the revolution; many political activists have attempted a new evolution to deal with the Islamic Republic's repression at the time. IPA concludes that Iran's security system accuses political activists according to their family background. They have even made accusations against people who have not been involved in any political activity. According to his friends and family, Ali Younesi is one of the people who had been away from political activities. There is no information about Amir Hossein Moradi, but some of his relatives have said that Mr. Moradi did not participate in political activities either. </reference> </coverage-outsourcing>
