Reza Salehian
Reza Salehian is from Arak and lives in Shahriar. He was arrested and convicted for blocking the path of special units and security forces from entering Andisheh town during the November 2019 country-wide uprising. In the early days of his arrest, he was severely tortured until his head and arm were broken.

The interrogators were trying to force Reza Salehian to confess to setting fire to government buildings and membership in armed dissident groups. He was not legally arraigned, and the investigator insulted Ms. Salehian and his wife in the prosecutor’s office. After the arrest he was denied contact with his family; due to the ongoing massacre of protesters in the streets and the violent behavior of the agents during his arrest, his family feared that he was already killed.
