Majid was detained for an alleged and unproven terrorist attack. Although he denied the allegations in the sham trial, he was tortured, forced to confess, and ultimately executed.
- Majid was apprehended, alongside his brother, for what the Islamic Regime called a terrorist attack on a house in Isfahan. After two months of wrongful detention and the last court hearing, Majid was sentenced to death on the charge of "Waging war against God" based on fabricated crimes with no concrete proof. Moreover, he was sentenced to 10 years of Discretionary Imprisonment for "Membership in Illegal Groups and Gatherings to disrupt National Security" and "Collusion to Commit Crimes against Internal Security". Majid stated that IRGC security forces tortured him into confessing. Reportedly, the court hearing was recorded and tampered with, and not all the information was released. The court accused him of involvement in the alleged murder of three security officers in Isfahan. There are many discrepancies in the government's narrative of this incident. ## Majid's Brother Majid's brother, Hoseyn, was released with broken ribs and teeth. According to his family, Hoseyn was detained, exploited and tortured to force Majid into an involuntary confession. Despite the torture and pressure, Majid denied all the allegations throughout the court hearing.
