An informed source told Harana that the death sentence of Elham Chobdar and Zahra Sediqi was canceled in Dey. Zahra is still in prison due to her inability to provide two billion tomans bail. These two were arrested earlier by IRGC Intelligence Organization. This organization stated that the reason for their arrest was "the head of the trafficking network of Iranian girls and women to one of the countries in the region for prostitution and guiding and supporting homosexual groups that are supported by extra-regional intelligence services". Activists of the LGBT community stated that their arrest was only related to their sexual orientation and activities and considered the accusations against these two to be false.
