The letter states that the first three people who had gotten armed due to "discrimination" and lack of attention to their demands, were arrested in an armed conflict. They were then transferred to the Ghods IRGC Intelligence detention center where they were severely tortured. "The main tortures began here by baring us and filming from all sides, threatening to spread these films and pouring peppers on the wounds of Esmail and Hayatollah [who were shot at the time of arrest] and needling the genitals and bringing glass of soda and pepper to use for strange tortures. " They had the right to go to the bathroom twice a day and they were taken for shower once a month. Abdolvaset Dehani also writes that he was arrested by the police and detained in the detention center "under the worst tortures". They closed him hands, hung him like a "chicken" (tying both hands and feet together), whipped his soles of feet by a cable and burned them with atomic lighters.
