Twelve of the Azerbaijani activists, who were holding a demonstration protesting the prolongation of Siamak Mirzaei’s temporary arrest and detention in Ghaleh Babak prison, were arrested and taken to the Intelligence ministry’s detention center in Tabriz. HRANA announced the names of eleven of these individuals: Hamed Ravaji, Rahim Norouzi, Milad Akbari, Rahim Zarei, Morteza Parvin, Akbar Jahangiri, Araz Gharadeghani, Sajad Sadeghi, Mohammad Mardi, Hassan Gharadeghani and Reza Aghaei.The last five were released in 24 hours without bail or promise. According to a report by different sources, Morteza Parvin was severely injured during the arrest and in the detention center. On the other hand, Tohid Amini was, also, pursued by security forces, for his speech during the ceremonies.
