Amir Moshtagh Gangchin
Amir Moshtagh Gangchin is from Urmia. He was arrested and sentenced to prison on the charge of collusion with enemy states through espionage for Mossad.
On April 30, 2022, Iran International's diplomatic sources reported that the IRGC's Quds Force intended to use drug smugglers to perform three assassinations in Turkey, Germany, and France. A member of the Quds Force's Brigade 840 who was arrested in a European country admitted that he had received 150 thousand dollars to make preparations for these assassinations and was supposed to receive another million dollars after the assassinations were done. He was supposed to use his connections with drug smugglers to orchestrate these assassinations. Hours later, official Israeli media outlets announced that Mossad forces had traveled to Iran to "interrogate" Mansour Rasouli in front of a camera. Israeli TV channels also aired an audio file in which Mansour Rasouli introduced himself as 52 years old, son of Reza Rasouli, born in Hashem Abad, and said he had been involved in the mission for three assassinations. The Israeli FM 103 radio channel said the release of the audio file was intended to humiliate Iranian Intelligence agencies. <symbol-timeline></symbol-timeline>
