Souri Babaei Chegini is a protester of compulsory hijab. She was arrested at her brother's house in Alborz province after the video of her uncovering her hijab in protest was published on social networks. She is married with two children. Her husband, Mohammad Reza Morad Behrouzi, was also arrested after publicizing her arrest.
